Technology Assistance
HCC Email is the official means of communication. To access email, go to www.hibbing.edu -> Quick Links -> Email Login -> Starid@go.minnstate.edu, enter password, click on Outlook.
To look up Star ID/password go to https://starid.minnstate.edu/ .
To use Zoom, go to https://minnstate.zoom.us/ and log in with your Star ID and password. If using the Zoom app on your cell phone, log in via the SSO section, type in Minnstate, and log in with Star ID/password.

FCC statement on network access:
The Federal Communications Commission is working with the broadband and telephone industries, asking them to agree to the Keep Americans Connected Pledge. Providers pledge to:
Connectivity options for students who don't have it
Charter Communications is offering: Free Spectrum broadband and Wi-Fi access for 60 days in home with K-12 and/or college students who don’t have an existing Spectrum service level up to 100 Mbps.
INTERNET ACCESS: Charter Free Internet offer for 2 months
Comcast is creating options for more wireless and data access for subscribers and non-subscribers, including free Wi-Fi hotspots nationwide for all and unlimited data for their subscribers.FREE HOME WIFI: For 2 months to low income families
FREE WIFI HOTSPOTS: All Xfinity hotspots free, see map
Student resources for reduced-rated data access and wi-fi
Xfinity WiFi hotspots across the country will be available to anyone who needs them for free – including non-Xfinity Internet subscribers.
