Perform audits on the entire pipe lining process as well as the cast urethane and rubber lining operations
Inspection of all final products
Assist Engineering and Product Development with new design
Troubleshoot with Production/Engineering to solve any quality problems that may arise
Assist with IS09001 QMS compliance
Lead the Irathane lab in the daily tasks such as testing quality specifications on raw materials and finished
products. Measure chemical and physical parameters using a variety of analytical instruments such as
Instron, Brookfield Viscometer, Infrared Spectroscopy, and other equipment necessary to evaluate cured
and un-cured material
Perform additional assignments as directed by Technical Services Director.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor of Science preferably in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering and/or 0-3 years’ experience in
High School Diploma or equivalent with 5-8 years’ experience in a chemistry lab.
Basic knowledge of relevant chemistry
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form. Ability to establish and maintain
professional and effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, and
external entities each of which require cooperative efforts on both sides.
A moderate level of computer literacy is required particularly in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
