Program Description

This program prepares technicians to understand, recommend, operate, install, test, modify and repair microcomputer-type equipment. Concentration is on board level work with microcomputer hardware, software, applications and networking. Such technicians are often called field or service technicians.

Graduates of the IT Networking and Security program have many career advantages. Jobs are available in almost any area of the country in fields of computer research and manufacturing, training users on various hardware, operating systems, software applications, and working with LANs and the Internet.
