The Secretary Receptionist program prepares students for employment in office support positions in word processing, banking, advertising, public relations, government agencies, travel bureaus, real estate and related office occupations of all kinds. Special emphasis is placed on current computer applications such as word processing, data processing, spreadsheets and desktop publishing using a personal computer ( we do not support or use Apple products).
The secretary receptionist main duties include answering the phone and greeting people who walk into the office. Some companies ask their secretary receptionists to perform additional tasks that involve computers and software. Secretary receptionists need excellent customer service skills via phone and in person.

Reporting is not required for undergraduate certificates and diplomas less than 16 credits and graduate certificates and specialist awards that are less than 8 credits. Degree programs at all levels are not considered to be gainful employment programs.
